Aceh Government Sends 26 Participants to the National Korpri MTQ Event in Padang
BANDA ACEH – The Acting Governor of Aceh, represented by the Assistant for General Administration of the Aceh Secretary, Iskandar, released 26 Acehnese civil servants who were participants in the 6th National Korpri MTQ event held in Padang City, West Sumatra. The release ceremony took place at the Aceh Governor's Office, Friday (4/11/2022).
In his speech, Iskandar advised that the MTQ event could be a momentum to increase faith and piety to Allah SWT among the State Civil Apparatus. "The State Civil Apparatus should always be based on the values of the Qur'an, so that the development that is being carried out will lead to glory and success under the auspices of Allah SWT's blessing and grace," said Iskandar.
Iskandar said, MTQ is also one of the instruments in order to create a society that loves the Qur'an, as well as to encourage people's enthusiasm and interest in reading the Qur'an. "For members of KORPRI in particular, we value this MTQ activity as very important, considering the position of Civil Servants who have a very strategic position and role in development, as well as in the life of the nation and state," said Iskandar.
Iskandar hopes that the representatives of Aceh can exert their abilities as much as possible, so that they can achieve the best performance and become a sweet memory as an offering for the Aceh Province. "Every achievement we achieve will certainly give the province a good image and name and make Aceh proud at the national level," said Iskandar.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Aceh Korpri Spiritual Mental Division who is also the Head of the Aceh Islamic Sharia Service, EMK Alidar, said the National Korpri MTQ is an event that is held every two years. This activity aims to trigger the spirit of ASN in piety to Allah.
Alidar said, in preparing the best participants in the event, the committee had made a selection beforehand and selected the best ASN from various districts/cities in Aceh. The participants have also been given a one-week training from October 28 to November 3, 2022 at the LPTQ Aceh Building. "Korpri Aceh sent 26 participants who will be competent in nine competitions," said Alidar.
The nine branches of the competition, namely, Al-Quran tartil, recitations, memorizing the Qur'an, da'wah, calligraphy, call to prayer, sermons, writing Al-Quran articles and reading prayers. "We have won three national championships in MTQ Korpri for three years in a row. Hopefully, this year we can improve to become one or two champions," said Alidar.
